Star Guitar to race his seasonal debut in the $200,000 Premier Night Championship on 4th February at Delta Downs
The seven-year-old Louisiana bred horse of Quiet American out of Minit Towinit, Star Guitar is owned by Brittlyn Stable Incorporation. The start of his career dates back to November 2007 which comprises of twenty-seven starts, out of which he has been
successful in twenty-one. He is being pointed toward the $200,000 Premier Night Championship on 4th February at Delta Downs raced for over 1 1/16 miles.
In 2010, Star Guitar raced four times out of which he won twice. On 6thFebruary, he won the Premier Night Championship at Delta Downs raced over 1 1/16 miles. Snug was second in the race while Ide Like A Double was third in line behind the
winner.
He next won on 11th December in the LA Champions Day Classic at Fair Grounds over 1 1/8 miles. This race was his final start for the year 2010, and was the beginning of the six race winning streak that he stretched on till 10th December
2011.
Star Guitar then won the Premier Night Championship on 2nd May, 2011 at Delta Downs, setting, Snug, in the runner up’s slot. Next he won the Costa Rising Stakes on 25th March at Fair Grounds over 1 1/16
miles. Heavenville finished second while, Hallway was third behind the winner.
The fourth win in a row was in the Louisiana Showcase Classic on 2nd July at Evangeline Downs which was raced over a distance of 1 1/16 miles. Break Up was the runner up of the race that, who was soon followed by Candiano.
On 13th August at Evangeline Downs, Star Guitar won the Evangeline Mile Handicap and then posted his last victory on 10th December at Fair Grounds in the LA Champions Day Classic raced over 1 1/8 miles.
Break Up was positioned third in the race, and this was the second year in a row that Star Guitar defended his title.
The seven-year-old has been entered into the Premier Night Championship on 4thFebruary so that he can defend his title.
"All we do is feed him, and he does the heavy lifting," said Fitzgerald, "He's just all class. He always looks perfect, never gets skin disease, never looks bad. I don't think he's ever even had a temperature."
"He's not like other horses," Stall, his trainer said. "He just does better."
