Star Search for new generation?

It seems like 89% of big singers in pop and R&B were in the show Star Search, even the young ones like Tiffany Evans, Karina Pasian..etc. But what about the next generation of singers that weren't old enough for Star Search then? Is there going to be another season? If not, please name other big celebrities that are big, that weren't on Star Search.

They brought Star Search back a few years ago and it wasn't a huge hit. I don't think they'll be trying it again. Most big celebrities weren't on Star Search. I don't need to name names. When you think of how many singers there are, it's really only a small handful that appeared on the show.

Star Search doesn't make someone a star. Talent and hard work do. Good luck and great marketing don't hurt, either. I mean, look at Jessica Simpson.
