Question:

Star Wars Mace Windu Resurrection?

Okay so a few days ago I found out through Wikipedia that Boba Fett never died. He is in some of the Star Wars books post the movies and apparently Lucas had a scene where he flew out of the sandpit that didn't make it in the movie. He allowed Boba Fett not to die due to his popularity. Why not do this with Mace Windu? He "died" in a similar way to Fett, you see him fall but never hit the ground. And you can't say the force lightning killed me because Luke took in more lightning in Return of the Jedi, plus Mace Windu was stronger than him.

  1. Sam L. wanted Mace Windu to die an amazing death. That was an agreement made when Sam L. signed on.

  2. Samuel Jackson went on David Letterman and said he knew he was going to die, so he told George Lucas if he was to die, he'd rather he wasn't killed by some movie extra.

As for Luke, yes he was shocked by The Emporer, but not as badly because the Emporer wanted Luke to suffer.  When he was severely shocking Mace, he wanted Mace to die for sure, and that's why as a final slap in the face of the Jedi, he tossed him out the window of the high building they were in and down into the city, so I doubt that the Jedi would have survived.

Plus the fact that Mace Windu never shows up or is mentioned in any of the Star Wars sequels (Episodes 4,5,6).

Boba Fett had such a huge cult following that of course Lucas said it was okay for him to be resurrected.  The series is over now so I doubt that Mace will ever be resurrected.
