I heard a rumor of a Star Wars TV show on the CW? What's the deal?

There is a live action TV series currently in the works but it isn't going to debut until 2009 or 2010.  Most recently George Lucas has said that it is more likely premiere in 2010.  The show is going to take place between Episodes 3 and 4 and will focus on secondary characters in the Star Wars Universe.  George Lucas has said that most of the main characters will make cameo appearances but they aren't likely to be featured in any of the episodes.  I don't believe any TV station has picked up the series yet though, and I've heard rumors that George Lucas is actually trying to get HBO to pick it up.  I haven't heard the CW rumor and couldn't find anywhere on the internet that says it either.
