Star wars costume help!

Question

I wanted to know the difficulty for sewing a foot length skirt as seen in the bottom portion of the costume in the provided link. Also any sewing patterns for such as skirt would be most appreciated as would any web site links that would be helpful. Thank you.

McCalls is having a buy one get one sale online right now.

Or if you have a Joann's nearby, they have pattern sales every couple of weeks so you can get a pattern for 1.99 or 0.99. You can check their website to see what's on sale. My local JoAnns is having either McCalls or simplicity on sale for 1.99 this weekend. I'm in CA but usually the sales are nationwide.

You can also try checking Craftster or Craftgrrl (online communities) for patterns or tutorials.
