Star wars role playing game skill focus?

What is skill focus. im still creating my character and i was wondering how to do it and if theres any other tips u can give me plz tell me. thx

in most rpg games skill focus means: to become more proficient at that skill (higher chance of success).

consult the rule book or character book on "skills"

the more of a specific skill you use the better the saving throw chance or exp in that area...

Skill focus is a feat you select when building your character.  It provides a flat bonus (in the Saga edition the bonus is +5) to a particular skill (chosen when the feat is selected),  You should choose this feat when having a high bonus in a particular skill is important.  For example, if you are creating a smooth talking smuggler who can Bluff his way through any Imperial entanglements.

Remember you only get so many feats so choose wisely.
