Star wars roleplaying club?

I am thinking about starting a roleplaying club, any suggestions on how I should do it?

Not sure if you're in school or not.  If so, see about starting a club there.  You'll likely need a teacher's approval or buy-in, but that should not be too hard if you get in touch with the History instructors.  Once you got the buy in, make up a few flyers, and post them around the school (again, with permission).

If you're not at school, or don't want to start a club at school, your local gaming store would be the place to start.

YOU should set the date/time.  Don't make it too flexible or else you'll end up trying to please everyone, and won't get a club going at all.

If possible, try to have some give-aways to lure people to the first couple meetings.  If you can offer some cheap snacks and/or drinks, that would be great.  Also, if you can give away a free d20 to newbies (and perhaps a common SW fig they could keep), that would likely improve turn out.  You don't need to spend a bunch, just get 5-10 d20's, and pick up a few commom PC type figs to hand out.  Gamers love free stuff.
