  1. The bottom line is what's up - or rather, down.  They are losing customers because the price of their coffee can't be supported by people who are scratching for every cent that they have to spend on gas. With other, cheaper, coffee out there that is relatively as good, it was inevitable.

An ABC news article about the 600 closings is below.

  2. Probably because the market today sucks. But finally. I was waiting for this day. You don't know how bad it is in Seattle.

  3. the economy is down in the coffee world! =(

  4. here ya go, you can go to star bucks and get a cup of joe with some special toppings and use the fancy lingo for a cup of joe and spend 5 dollars. or you can go to a 7 11 and spend 1 dollar on a cup of joe that has the same amount of caffeine, that will wake you up just as good as the bucks joe just 4 dollars cheaper, the only sacrifice is the caramel and shots of whatever else you want to flavor up your energy boost.

  5. Oh their buisness is doing really bad,

they invested too much of their money in other dumb things :)

  6. well they are currently opening bigger and better ones in busier locations. well thats whats happening in my location.
