Starbucks Mocha?

Does anyone know how to make homade mocha's as good as Starbucks?

I used to work at starbucks, and all the mocha powder really is, is chocolate powder mixed with water. After that all you do is add the espresso shots and the warm milk. I’m guessing you could use any chocolate powder that you like, Hershey’s powder for example to make your home made mocha. The Grande: is 3 pumps of mocha, 2 shots of espresso, warm milk, and whipped cream.

ICED MOCHA (LIKE STARBUCKS)

1 - Fill cup with ice

2 - pour in milk of choice (2%, skim, soy)

3 - add Hershey’s liquid chocolate (not the powdered stuff)

4 - drop in the espresso shots ( 1 or 2 )

5 - stir until chocolate is mixed in well

6 - top off with whipped cream

How much milk, choc, and espresso you add will depend upon your taste preferences. Experiment till you get the perfect ratio.

HOT MOCHA

ingredients

whole milk (homogenized milk)

chocolate power (Herseys, Ghirardelli or any quality chocolate powder)

whipped cream

espresso

whipped cream from a can

chocolate syrup

directions

makes a espresso shot, you will need an espresso machine to do this

place 2 table spoons of chocolate powder in a milk steaming cup

add the homogenized milk into the steaming cup

stir up and dissolve the chocolate powder, so it blends with the milk

steam the milk to 140 degrees (use a thermometer to measure the temperature)

now place the Espresso coffee into your coffee mug or cup, then pour the chocolate milk onto of the Espresso

top of your creation with whipped cream

squirt chocolate syrup over the whipped cream

serve with a big smile!

One Shot Torani Coffee Flavor

One Shot Chocolate Flavor

Fill your cup with ice.

Fill the cup that is already full of ice with milk.

Directions:

Fill Cup with Ice & Milk

Add Shots

Pour Mix into Blender

Pour Cup of Milk, Ice and Shots.

Mix on whatever setting you feel like.

Mocha Frappuccino Recipe SERVES 2

1/3 cup cold coffee

3 tablespoons sugar

1/2 cup milk

2 cups ice

3 tablespoons chocolate syrup

whipped cream

Combine all ingredients into an electric blender.

Blend the drink until ice is crushed and drink is smooth.

Serve drink in coffee cups and top with whipped cream and chocolate syrup (if desired).

Add straw for ease in drinking.
