Starbucks Pike Place?

Question

I've read where alot of people didn't like the taste of Starbucks Pike Place compared to other Starbucks coffees.

So I decided to try it for myself. I couldn't tell much difference between Pike Place and other Starbucks brews.

So what is the difference?

PIKE'S PEAK is the first coffee served in seattle when starbucks started out. I love it it is great with cream in it.

It's just as burnt tasting as the other coffees they offer. I like their espresso drinks, but maybe it's because the taste is diluted with steamed milk and sugary syrups. I've never liked their coffee though and Pike Place isn't any better.
