So there's this AMAZING drink at Starbucks that I get everytime. It's called Shaken Passionfruit Iced Tea Lemonade. I want to start making it at home but I'm not sure how. If you know the type of Tazo tea it's made with please tell me and if you know the recipe to make it that would be even better!

  1. They use passion tea they have tea to brew iced for sale at starucks which give detailed directions on the back of the box... its half lemonade and half passion tea...(its brewed a double strengthen) then its sweetened with a sugar type syrup..so basically but sum lemonade n sugar n the passion tea  and you be set!

  2. Avoid making the classic syrup...  go to Starbucks and you can actually buy it.

Buy a couple of boxes of passion tea.

Then go buy some lemonade and you're set!!!

That's it.  You'll save some money and a trip to Starbucks.

The tea is like $5, the syrup is $6-$7 and lemonade shouldn't be more than $3.  All of this will last a while though.

  4. Ohh well, I understand why you want to do it by your own,STARBUCKS is quite expensive, If I were you I would probably do the same thing. Why don't you try it by your own instinc, I mean there is no harm in trying...when you taste it you'll know some other ingredients they put so try to experement till you get the exact taste.Get some fruits, tea and lemon, put them together in a blender and some ice,let see what you get and how does it taste...

  5. it is made with tazo passion tea.

  6. There is something in it called Simple Syrup which is ~

    Simple Syrup

Simple Syrup (also known as Bar Syrup, Rock Candy Syrup) is little more then a mixture of sugar and water.

You first bring the water to a boil, then dissolve into this the sugar. Once the sugar is fully dissolved, you remove the pan from the heat and allow it to cool. The resultant liquid is easily stored in a plastic squeeze bottle to make it easy to add to cocktails as necessary.

The ratio of sugar to water can be left to personal preference, traditionally it is one part water to two parts sugar.

Why not ask someone at Starbucks? They may tell you. But that syrup ingredient is surely the secret.

  7. first of all you go to Starbucks buy it drink it there you go a great recipe :)
