  1. I believe they are opening a new brand of stores for the more affordable coffee drinker. Also, if they lower prices now and once the economy bounces back they want to make sure the price is on the higher end, if they drop prices now they might have to keep it consistent even with a good economy. They are in a tight spot because their product is not a nesseicty and dunkin donuts has a great product for cheaper, we will seee. hope that helps.


  2. Because it's a big pie of money from the coffee lover same principle as Microsoft Windows Vista.

  3. Because they are riding the market.  They will probably wait until their sales stay consistantly low for a period of time before giving lower prices.

  4. Because if they did that, it just wouldn't be the same. Haha, I have no idea, actually.
