Inositol 100mg

Guarana 90mg

Niacin 170%

B12 70%

I have had this (pretty much daily since it debuted) as a

"Double shot iced plus energy". Has anyone else had it?

I think it's delicious but I'm a bit concerned about the ingredients---obviously it's designed to kick you in the butt, but is it safe?

Anyone really familiar with guarana and taurine as well as some of the other more obscure ingredients? I have to say I love this drink and I love the boost it gives me, but I don't want to do anything unsafe.

It does seem to be kind of addictive and I have to assume since it's not too expensive, under 100 cals and fabulous that there must be a downside.

  1. I grew up in the country where guarana grows. Guarana pop is like water there. But, the combination with all the other ingredients don't please me.

I am a believer in moderation. I have never drank an energy drink and I plan not to. But if you enjoy, do it in moderation so you can do it always.

  2. Not sure. It is not available in Canada do to the ingredients. It was not approved by Canada's FDA.

    That ought to say something.

If you cannot pronounce and you do not know what the heck the chemical ingredients are, how can that be safe?

Stick to something else! Get your regular coffee with perhaps an extra shot of espresso for a kick in the butt. Better safe than sorry, right? :) I like Americanos (shots of espresso and hot water) if you like basic coffee it tastes great. Ask for room for milk or cream. Very smooth and gives you a great kick.
