Starbucks.??

Just 1 simple question, thats all. It's on the new on Yahoo! News but I just want to ask you..ok??

Why is Starbucks closing down??

Please tell me because I really want to go there.

and $4 for a coffee it's kind of crazy too in my opinion

Starbucks are winding back their stores in America and Australia basically because they are doing it hard financially. They have invested a lot of money in the American housing market and as you know these investments have sent a lot of companies broke. It has also been claimed that Starbucks have concentrated too much on peripherals (extras) and not focused enough on coffee.

They are not closing down entirely, they are just closing down 600 stores in the United States. If you Google it you should be able to find an article about it that could give you the list of stores that they are going to close.
