  1. Starbucks over-brews their coffee to cover up the stale taste. Folgers just grinds it, cans it, and stores it for...however long.

If you don't roast your own, you have no idea what coffee really tastes like.

  2. Folgers.

    I really don't know,they don't ruin the coffee bean.

  3. Well folgers' coffee is made out of coffee beans that are bought in bulk and then they process it in plants and roast them differently. Starbucks coffee on the other hand is actually grown in coffee plantations in different parts of the world and they roast them not in a factory but they lay them out in the sun. Then they send the beans to the factories where they pass through a cleaning process and package them till they make it all the way here. It's fresh from the source and that's why it tastes better. How i know this... my friend works at the Starbucks offices and she travels constantly to and from the coffee plantations.

  4. starbucks

    because they're really good

  5. starbucks coffee is much higher in quality then folgers. starbucks pays top dollar to top quality farmers to grow coffee beans. also location is key for great coffee. and the way they roast it.

did you know that starbucks coffee farms makes up 2% of the worlds coffee sales?

as for folgers.. yuck! i dont know what they do to coffee to make it taste so yucky, but some one needs to tell them that putting coffee in cans does it no justice.

  6. they are roasted diffrently

  7. Folgers...

I do not like starbucks coffee.

  8. Depending on when the coffee was bought can effect the

    quality of taste.

  9. I worked for Starbucks for 9 years. Starbucks only uses Arabica beans, and the proces they use for purchasing quality beans is very long and some say unnecessary ( but I beg to differ) They roast past the 2nd pop in the coffe bean, and use superior quality beans, and they uphold a very astringent shelf live guidline. When brewing their coffee they suggest 2 Tbsp. per cup (6 0z) cup. Coffee maker cups are 6 0z not 8 oz. Thats where people get mixed up. The grind makes a huge difference on the brewing and flavor. Hope this helps
