Starbucks what is the habit forming ingredient they use?

It makes me spend 8 min at a drive thru window uttering; triple mocha latte with a shot of peppermint in a venti no whip

  1. I know, I used to laugh at people who went to starbucks,, then my wife got a job managing one, I went in and tried almost everything and have been hooked ever since. I think they are drugging us..

  13. Consumers love choices.  The more choices, the more individualism.  I like my "iced Venti sugar free vanilla non-fat latte".  It's my drink.  Much like a bartender, the local barista knows "my drink" and I have incorporated the drink and Starbucks into a piece of my identity.  

    Also, the coffee is caffeinated.  That helps with the "habit forming" thing.  

    Overall, the branding is excellent, the choices are endless and the taste is terrific.  It would be more habit forming I suppose, if they added one more ingredient: FREE.

    i drink coffee almost everyday and i'm not even sure if i like coffee. hahaha
