Question:

Starchild.....?

Has anyone heard of this and do you believe it could be an alien hybrid? I live in New Mexico and saw it at the UFO convention they have in Roswell, and it was allot lighter and looked differently than a human skull would. I just would like to know what other people think of this.

  1. I'm not sure I believe that that particular skull is alien, but I do believe in that aliens do exist and that they are here.

  2. Yes I have hear of the starchild. It is very interesting.

The bone and shape are totally different than a normal humans.

  3. There's no reason to think it's not just a deformed child's skull, in which case it is not very significant. Physical deformities are known to occur, and in specific, hydrocephaly and other physical abnormalities are known to happen as well. So why even bother with an outlandish alien hypothesis when there are very natural explanations to be had?

In fact, it's well known that scientists have already studied the skull. DNA shows that it was a boy, with an X and Y chromosome. Human, in other words, and consistent with untreated hydrocephaly. The questions have already been answered by science and the conclusions are supported by experimental data.

All that is left is for alien conspiracy theorists to insist the DNA tests are somehow wrong.  Oh, and also to show how an alien lifeform developing in a far distance world would somehow be genetically compatible enough with humans that a alien-human hybrid could live, when it is well known that a chimp sharing 98% of the DNA of humans can't even interbreed.

  4. There is a web site for the star child skull (link below).

Of course the conventional explanation is that it is a human mutation. However, despite the wishes of skeptics when one suggest an explanation (a positive) for a phenomena (or skull) then the burden of proof shifts to them to provide evidence that what they are suggesting could result in the phenomena.

Testing on this skull (yes I have actually informed myself before offering an opinion) has shown some odd things.

However, even the project itself does not claim that this is an alien they simply advocate further testing and scientific research (something skeptics don't appear to me to support) to attempt to answer more conclusively what the best explanation is for the skull. If it does prove to have something different than human DNA it will be perhaps the greatest discovery yet in science and just another thing on the long list that conventional science dismissed without examination. I am thankful there are still people that actually support science.

FYI: I was there as well and saw it also.

  5. I agree with TR in that the particular skull you are referring to is likely an example of Hydrocephalus.

However that being said, a lot of people seem to believe that humans have evolved from aliens, are still part alien, or entirely alien shapeshifting into a human form.

The most common seems to be people believing they are from a place called "Lemuria". Its described as being "east of the mind and west of the heart" - so I have no idea how you would find that on a map.

And of course there is the conspiracy theories that believe a race of Reptilian aliens have taken are in fact in positions of power and trying to take over the planet. George Bush is thought to be a Reptilian by some folks.

As best I know, there has never been any scientific proof to prove the existence of aliens. But there have been many many conspiracy theories about why that is. It makes for interesting reading.

    thanks for the question!

  6. I think that aliens are already here.  I mean, have you seen that New Zealand Cricket?  It looks like a smaller version of the pictures people who've been abducted draw.

Honestly, aliens don't need to disguise themselves.  New species are discovered every day!  All they would have to do is go to some unexplored rain forest and pop out and be like, "Yo, whaddup, who the heck are you and why have you intruded on the paradise that me and my people have shared for hundreds of years?"  Then we'd be all like, "Gee, sorry to intrude, can we send in a bunch of retarded scientists to visit you and study your culture so we can ultimately destroy it?"  Then they'd be all like, "Sure."

But seriously, regarding the starchild...  Have you seen pictures of hydrosephilis.  I know I spelled that wrong, but too bad.  Start googling pictures of deformed baby.  Mexico is notorious for popping out genetic freaks.  Mutations happen all the time.  Babies born without the top half of their head, etc.  Most of those severely deformed babies do not look human, yet they were conceived by two humans and are genetically human.  It is also possible to have a child that is SO badly deformed that their DNA is so messed up that they no longer even test as human.  I am not a genetic biochemist fancy pants or anything....  but logic tells me that it would not make sense to jump to the MOST illogical conclusion possible (aliens) when genetic mutations happen ALL THE TIME.

  7. I think it really is a hybrid. The skull has been reconstructed many times,by many different people, and it always comes out looking like a classic grey alien.

The skull is obviously not human. It's all very interesting because I've heard many alien abductees say that they have "Hybrid Children" that live in the solar system. This may in fact be the skull of a hybrid and it's just so amazing.I wish the Starchild would get more coverage on the news because this is a very big deal for humanity.

  8. Some ufologists say the so-called "Starchild" skull is a human/alien hybrid.  I wonder what would make them draw such a conclusion.  There is no evidence to suggest this is the case.  The only thing this hypothesis has going for it is that the skull slightly resembles what some people think aliens look like.

It seems it was a human child with some deformities.  So all we have here is *yet another* example of the all too common "anomaly=paranormal" phenomenon.

Unlike some of the paranormal evangelists out there, I see no reason to believe it is anything but the deformed cranium of a child.  It is unreasonable to assume anything else until there is evidence to support an alternative explanation.  Simply calling it an ET hybrid is ignorant, irresponsible and intellectually dishonest.

  9. I would need to see it to make an opinion of it.
