Starfish Trelawny in Jamaica: Can a senior in High School have a decent spring break there?

I'm 18 and for my final Spring Break of high school I have a choice between going to Starfish Trelawny with my family (which would be free), and going on a vacation with friends (which I would have to pay for). I'd really prefer the not paying, however the resort seems really family oriented and I want to make sure I'll at least have a decent 'spring break experience'.

I don't need to get crazy and trashed every night to be satisfied...however my hope would be that I can do at least some partying with others my age and have a decent shot at getting laid. Will Starfish Trelawny be up to my expectations in that area?
