Describing the life cycle of stars?

I would like to know the overview of the nature and importance of light and other electromagnetic waves.

Explain where stars fit in the hierarchy of the universe, the characteristics of stars, and processes by which stars form, live, and die.

  1. Way too much to type in here - all of that is an entire college course, not a quick answer.

Hmmm - you aren't really asking us to write a term paper for you, are you?

wikipedia is pretty good as a start (search on electromagnetic radiation and stellar evolution).  And there are external links and additional references you can explore.

  2. That would be a really long answer!  you are better off looking up the Wikipedia entry on stars.  It is quite good.

As far as electromagnetic waves and their nature - google or wikipedia Electromagnetic Spectrum.
