For example, I've recently loaded Kodak Easyshare software onto a computer, and it's one of those darned programs that puts itself onto your automatic startup sequence. I've taken stuff off before, but I always forget how to do it. Thanks in advance for help.

  1. Search for the option within the program's preferences or run MSCONFIG and remove it from the startup list.

  2. Your best option is to run MSConfig.

    1. Click on the Start->Run menu item.

    2. In the Run text box, type in msconfig, then press Enter.

    3. In MsConfig, click the Startup tab.

    4. Find the entry for that program and clear the checkbox next to it.

    5. Click OK.

    6. Accept the reboot option.

After the reboot, you will get a message about your configuration having changed.  In fact, if you just click OK, you'll get this message after every reboot, however, if you click the checkbox and click OK, the message won't come up again unless and until you make another msconfig change.

    Good luck.

  3. move the mouse over it and click delete

a pop up will come up
