I had the same question about a week ago. It is located in the back of the motor underneath the fuel injection system. It is a horrible place to have a starter. First remove the whole air intake system not to be confused with the fuel injection system (intake manifold). After you remove the breathing system, underneath the throtole opening (which will be visable after you have removed the breather) you will see two bolts that are arranged diagnally(I think anyway), I believe they are 15mm.These bolts hold the starter on place. Unscrew the bottom bolt first then the top bolt so you wont have an issue with the weight of the starter on the bottom bolt causing you a headache. Once you have removed the bolts, jack the car up high off the ground and go underneath. As I said before the starter is located underneath the fuel injection system. If starter will not simply fall once unbolted, get a hammer and tap it from the bottom of the car first then go up and with a punch or narrow screwdriver with the hammer tap on it from there. Do this until it falls out. Undo wiring on the starter(1 15mm bolt and the starter signal wire which is connected to a wiring harness). Reverse everything I have stated to install new starter. Oh, but you will need help installing the new starter since it is in a odd place. One person will have to hold the starter while another will have to bolt the starter in place. I hope this helps. God Bless.
