Question:

Starter motorcycle, which one would be better?

I'm getting ready to purchase my first bike. For just starting out which bike would be better for me a 1984 HONDA SHADOW VT-500 or a 1998 Suzuki Marauder? I'm 5'7" and about 140 lbs, information that might help in giving me advise.

  1. Between those two, I'd say the Honda, as I recall the Suzuki is real small.

    You will outgrow either one of those in no time.


  2. You want to start bigger because in a short period of time you will tire of the bike and want to go bigger.
