Startin a university in the 2nd semester...

Hey all! ^^ ok im in grade 12 now and im applyin to uni in Australia, UK and Canada. And u know canada and uk start in sept. But aus start in feb. I will only find out if i get accepted into the uni in uk or canada in abt jan and by then i wil hav already decided if im goin to aus or not. So i decided to apply for aus but only in the 2nd semester, which is sept. Now wat i want to know is this, by joinin in 2nd semester, if the course i wanna study allows it, wats the difference? Will i hav to catch up al the work i missed in 1st semester or will i do the same thing but just hav my year startin in sept? So wat are the pros and cons in startin to study in the 2nd semester. Thanx ^^

Im not sure whether i got ur question correctly. But I wil try to answer from my point of view.

Getting admission in the second semester doesnt mean that u wil join in the 2nd semester after missing the first one. Every uni has two batches of students studying the same course in a year.

For the persons who join in feb, the first semester will start at feb and their second semester will start at july.

For the persons who join in july, the first semester will start only at july.

So its not like u are going to miss one semester. You need not even worry. You can take ur time and decide where u want to go.
