  1. As an Ex-Season ticket holder (I moved too far away) and a huge King's fan, I am mildly optimistic about this year.  I think they miss the play-offs, but they have some good building blocks for the future.  I hope you do have the line-up correct, but Theus didn't play the young guys as much as he should have last year.  More likely, Miller starts at center and Abdur-Rahim/ Thomas starts at PF.  Hard to wait, but the key is the loads of cap room coming in 2010, when some MAJOR talent become free agents (Lebron, Wade, Bosh, Stoudmire, to name a few).

  2. oh well that just was stupid on the kings part but still a pretty solid starting 5.

  3. c-brad miller

    pf-m.moore

    sf-j.salmons

    sg-k.mart

    pg-beno

i ma kings fan too...hi five..!!

  4. I don't think that will be the starting 5 next year.  It very well might be 1-2 years from now.

    PG:  Udrih

    SG:  Martin

    SF:  Francisco Garcia/John Salmons

    PF:  Mikki Moore

    C:  Brad Miller

I don't really think Theus will start 2 rookies.  Hawes will probably get some big minutes, but Miller is not coming off the bench.  He nearly averaged a double double last season, and is one of their most productive players.  Even if he can't play defense.

Green and Thompson have yet to prove anything.  For Thompson, the NBA is a big step up from Rider University and the MAAC.  Green had a great summer league, but that isn't enough to earn him a starting spot.  They have some nice young players, but they need to earn their minutes.  Theya are in a rebuilding mode, but they are still trying to win some games.

  5. very solid starting five to me, i hope i'll have more of a chance to watch them next year.

they may be playoff contenders if they can settle down and get down to work, but i feel they hit a HUGE standstill when they lost chris webber, and it's a shame he quit after just one season with the pistons in 06'

i apologize, it wasn't just chris webber.  they also lost peja stoja. and mike bibby.  i was pretty disapointed when this number 2 in the west 2003 team crumbled.

good luck to your season though!
