hey my therapist just started EMDR stuff with me...has anyone done this...what happens?...and what do u feel like after?

  1. I have a couple colleagues trained to provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).. EMDR, and from what i've seen it is very effective in dealing with single incident traumatic PTSD. Many insurance companies are pushing this as the 1st method of treatment before a client enters into longterm counseling, because of it's effective rate of successful reduction in flashback memories.
