  1. Don't be nervous you'll be fine.

  2. just go with the flow. you will meet a few friends that you can just hang out with outside of school. Try not to ask unnessesary questions otherwise you will have people telling you that you shouldn't do this or that and you shouldn't have a life based upon your own decisions!

  3. I'm tired of all of the kids my age being scared of high school it isn't going to be any worse than middle school so suck it up!

  4. Just Be YOU! The first day or week will be the hardest but it will get better. Freshman year is easy.

  5. you'll do fine.

    just keep ur grades up!

i had to work really hard to keep my grades up

    cause i was slacking

    &

    keep ur close friends close

    :)

  6. ok well the upper classmen (11th-12th graders) even the 10th graders may get on to you cuz ur a freshmen. -_- But some or for the most part, they are friendly if your friendly to them.

I was nervous as well wen i was gonna start... i got lost and it was crazy on the first day. It will settle about the 2nd or 3rd day lol pretty fast.

If you have friends... your gonna do great. If you don't, you should make some! You can be apart with Clubs and social activities in school. Just be social enough for people to enjoy your company.

For acedemics... be sure to do your homework. This year is like the first step before college comes so don't mess around! You can have fun at the same time... just be sure to keep up with good grades. you know? And the work is pretty easy if you want it to be easy. Just pay attention and do your work.

Supplies... be sure to always bring your supplies and have lots of index cards. You can use those as flashcards and they'll help you study ;) Always have pencil, pen, paper and just be ready... but if you're not prepared...u can always ask someone hahaha ;)

    Good luck

  7. Dont do drugs. Stay in school.

  8. WOW this year i am gonna be a sophomore. Freshman year was pretty .. well ... unexpected. THere is nothing to be nervous about.. but drama .. there is a lot of that for sure! Ugh... seriously.. soo much more happens in high skool than elem skool and middle skool. Good things happen too.. =]

It's just like soo much when u think of it all... when i think of freshman year i think of:

    Drama

    Crushes

    Drugs

    friends

    More Drama

    Food  lol

    Guys

    the best moments eva! LOL

thing u did that u thought u would never do.

  9. Don't fall into the drug scene. AND above all things, take ALL THE WORK SERIOUSLY, this year i'm a junior in a privileged school. AND MAN do I desperately wish i could have done better my freshmen year, it's so true. Do the best you can now, because I can personally tell you that it haunts you! AND one more thing to remember is not to let the upper class men get to you, they always pull the EWW c**p on the freshmen, or the dirty looks on them. My class was SO hard on the freshmen last  year that it was disgraceful. I got in so many dang fights telling them to back off, but whatever. DON'T let them get to your better side. Believe me. Oh and one thing i've noticed, is that it comes in WAY handy to be nice to ALL the staff, especially the ones that work in the office HAHAHA it's kinda kiss assing, but it got me a lot of things for my better good. Just don't be desperate or fake. AND PAY ATTENTION!!!!!! but make good memories and have fun these years are SOOOOO short.

  10. I'm going into sophomore year don't be nervous the upperclassmen will say things like "look at the cute little freshmen" but they're just trying act cool in front of their friends. It's really not bad at all just awkward.

  11. you haven't to be nervous about that but you have to study very well to get excellent mark

  12. Don't worry you'll do fine.  I thought that way to. I was really afraide on the first day of school! but trust me its nothing to worry about:).   Just don't get lost. If they offer you maps take them.

Teachers might be in the hallway to help you if you get lost

Don't worry high schools nothing to worry about. You'll have a blast

  13. dont klisn 2 what the popular britanys are doing they are SIGH FATS

  14. Okay im starting school as an upper classmen this year and there is absolutely NOTHING to be worried about. On the first day of school EVERYONE is nervous if they are freshman sophmores juniors or even seniors. If you do happen to do something embarrasing everyone will forget about it by the next day just be relaxed and just go to school thinking it will be fun. Freshman year will go by so fast so you have nothing to worry about. Also, to help get there way early so you can find your classes before your day starts and that will help you not get lost. Also, set a place to meet your friends for lunch/break so you know where everyone is.

  15. Academics come before anything.

  16. this should be really helpful

  17. HAVE FUN,  dont be scared, nothing happens all those stories are to scare u. as long as you act chill, and cool dont be too attention grabbing. just flow with it, and freshman year is soooo fun.highschool paaarrtiiies. but not as a freshman...:) hehe

  18. welcome 2 eighth grade with more peoplee and bigger school other then that just get a GPA higher then a 3.0 freshmen year thats my advise

  19. Highschool isnt as scary as it sounds its alot funner then middle school and you hardly ever get introuble but id just be myself and you will make tons of friends

  20. My sister is about to be freshman too. She doesn't care at all. Just stay cool and no one will bother you. Don't look like a loner either. The seniors will get attention on you or you just be lucky.

  21. Work very hard in studies. These grades are going to get you into a good college and are the stepping stones to life. Join Clubs and Extracurriculars.

  22. just b ur self  and and don't get mix up in the bad crowd

  23. I lovedddd being a freshman!

you get siht but it's ok because next year you get to do it.

    everything will be fine.

  24. LISTEN I FELT THE SAME WAY JUST GO WITH THE FLOW

  25. dont do drugs

    dont have s*x

    be yourself

    dont skip class

dont mess up your first year

  26. It's really nothing to sweat, really, keep up your grades and try not to get involved in the drama and let people pressure you into things you don't want to do...easy as pie.

  27. well if your friends are going to the same high school make sure you try and stick with them as much as you can

when you cant be with them try and make new friends

otherwise just relax and pretend its jus like prinary school but with a whole bunch of new ppl

  28. I'm going into 10th grade this year. so last year i was in your shoes. freshman year was a lot of fun.  It only takes a couple of days to find your way around. And you'll be with your friends from middle school. so you'll be helping each other. If your high school has freshman orientation, go to that. Usually they let you go visit all your classrooms and try to open your locker, so that on the first day you wont have to try to do all that. You make lots of new friends because not all of your classes have just freshman. You want to do your homework and make good grades because your high school teachers can give you recommendations for all things, including a job and college. So make sure you work hard. Have fun and relax. Once you start, high school is gonna be so much fun! trust me.

  29. im starting high school too!

and im not nervous at all, because

you just have to be yourself. try not to

stand out in a bad way, just be cool and

collected. be outgoing and talk to people that

sit next to you in your classes.

    dont worry

    you're gonna do great.

    good luck!
