hello im going to be taking up swimming a an added cardio session

is it any good for fat burning ?

  1. it deffinetly keeps you in shape. as for loosing weight, it will take some time but it helps. i swim and have been for a long time and for the most part it tones you and cellulite and fat usually transformes into muscle. good luck!


  2. It's great for burning fat, if you swim about 10 miles per week or so.  Seriously, you'd be better off walking if you want to lose a few.

  3. YES!!!! swimmin gis the best totalbody workout u can get!! swimming burns about 700 calories per hour of freestyle while running burns about 350.
