Starting Track Practice... help??

I'm wondering... I'm considering doing track this year and during the summer, because many people have commented on my long legs. But... I have no experience with track whatsoever and am a little sketchy. Any suggestions on what I should do or tips would help thx!

  1. It would help if you put how tall you are, as this would help answer what events you should run. However, based on the information given, I would say that, after some training, you would make an excellent long distance runner. As seen in countless international track events, people with long legs make the best distance runners because they have a longer stride, thus allowing them to travel a further distance while conserving energy.
