Starting a business in KC MO do I need business licenses in both missouri and kansas to work in both states?

  1. I would think that you would need a license in the state where the actual physical address is located.  If the address in in MO, then you pay taxes to MO, and you license in that state.  I don't think that limits you to selling or doing service work in other states.
