Starting a clothing brand step by step?

Question

Ok, I and a few friends want so start a clothing brand. We have the designs at hand and a name for the brand in mind. What i want to know is.....what do we do next? I know we have to start promoting our brand, but any suggestions?

i know that we have to take them to printshops, but do we get them in stores? how do we get our own brand official. (as in our own tags, and company?) So, now that we have our designs and logos, where do we go from here? what do we do step by step?

also, i will be going to college soon and i am looking to get into Business as a major and something graphics design as a minor. THANKS
