Starting a club/hangout?

So... one of my long-term goals is to move back to my hometown and start a club/hangout. If you've ever seen Dazed and Confused - The Emporium is the basic premise of what I want to have, but with live music.

The thing is, I have NO IDEA how to get people to actually come to a place like this. Everyone has forever complained that there is, "nothing to do," in our town. But it seems that when people try to start stuff, no one ever goes or it gets overrun by kids.

Also, our county is totally dry so we can't serve alcohol which is another issue about getting people to come.

So... what would make you go somewhere like this? What would grab your attention? What would get you there at a club that doesn't serve alcohol?

All you truly need is good food and music. You can pull it off just try to be creative and give the place a concept like the French Quarter or South Beach. You will need lot of money so get on your hustle.

I visited a loung in the past, where people brought their own alcohol. They had D.J.'s , live music, and bring your own c.d. nights... Check the laws for people bringing their own stuff.. The place was called the KingFish....
