  1. I have been a licensed child care provider in my home for 20 years in Michigan.  I looked at your website.  It looks pretty good.  One very minor thing you may want to change is in the Rates and Services section you have the words "I except" when the proper grammar is "I accept".  It will look more professional if spelling and grammar are correct.  This is my own personal pet peeve, but I'd get rid of calling yourself a "babysitter".  I believe that a babysitter is a teenager who goes to the home of a family to occasionally care for the children so mom and dad can go on a date night.  If you are going to be registered and will be doing this on a regular basis in your home than I think it is much more professional to refer to yourself as a Child Care Provider.  Babysitter Cassy sounds very young and doesn't convey the message I think you are after.  Cassy's Child Care or something similar would be better in my opinion.  In addition to your website you may want to see if your area has a childcare network.  These organizations provide the service of matching up daycare openings with families in need of daycare.  I love providing child care in my home and I hope it works out the way you want it to.

  2. I love the site! You did a good job of naming your resources and you rates are very reasonable. Nice job!

  3. Nice layout and info...the only thing I would suggest is fix all your grammar errors!  It kinda looks bad/unprofessional if you have a lot of grammar errors.  The main stuff I noticed was capitalization and at some point you said "I except..." where it should be "accept."  Other than that nice job!

  4. Thus far, your website looks pretty good. There are only a couple of things I would change/ check.

First off, you need to do something about grammer. A lot of your sentences do not begin with a capitalized letter. Also, you do not have complete sentences all the time.

Secondly, I would be careful of any photographs or art you use. It looks like you have a Precious Moments picture on there - to which you could be sued if you didn't have permission to use it (work in law and that's why I tell you this).

Otherwise, I think your prices are good and your goals are admirable. Be sure to also have a "plan" written for what you will actually do with the children - just as a teacher would. This is something that will be helpful to you and will probably be asked for by parents and possibly the state.
