Starting a group for awarness of child predators?

I keep watching the shows that involve men that out to have to s*x with young girls, and also I keep watching the news and see guys that have commited crimes against children and I've been wondering what can I do. My main intention is to start an awareness group that empowers kids and there parents and educates them on what exactly they can do. My only problem is I'm not sure on what exactly to do, if anyone has any suggestions that would be great. I know there is the group called pervert justice but they have practices that I don't exactly agree with plus they are in it to catch these guys, I'm looking to be somewhat more proactive towards this cause.

Sounds good, as long as you're not looking to put some kind of vigilante group together.

I think one of the most important things for people to be aware of is the fact that it is rarely strangers who are the offenders, but family members and people in a position of trust.  In other words, the very people who you least expect.

known to their victims – they are often a member of the

family, a friend of the victim or a friend of the victim’s family."

Beware of looking so closely for the stereotypical peado that you let your radar slip at home.
