  1. All of the answers your getting are helpful , but the thing to do is to go back to where you had the mower serviced and let them show you Step by Step exactly how to start it and also how to maintain it to keep it starting again and again. Most people learn better when they are shown by a professional.

  2. If it just came back from a service, i would ensure the fuel is on, and you have given the primer a couple of pumps, put the choke on and then try and start it. I wouldn't  heat the spark plug, if you do it wrong could stuff up on ya. Make sure you don't flood the engine. If you still have trouble try using a bit of aerostart, or start ya b*****d(Yes that's what it's really called) but don't use too much or you'll burn it out. If that fails, take it back to the mower place. Hope that helps.

  3. Its good to know a lot of cuss words when you have to pull a rope to start ANYTHING. when you run out of cuss words,,time for a new one.

  4. No, don't heat it.

There should be a primer, it pumps gas up into the carburetor.

There also should be a choke, put it all the way on.

    Put the throttle half way.

Some mowers have a safety lever, you will have to hold it while pulling the rope.

    Good luck

  5. you have the gasoline one? i wouldn't heat the spark plug. Have you tried pulling the cord really fast a bunch of times? if that doesn't work them i suggest you take it back to the serviceing place you took it to. maybe they messed it up. Or you could get a push mower. they don't break down as easily and are much cheaper.

  6. Does it have gas in it? Sometimes they drain all the fluids to service it.
