  1. Hi, I work at a "Montessori School" and when I first started they gave us this handbook about the basic ideas, I pasted it the link here for you: www.montessori.wa.edu.au/pdf/course/desc... but you can go to any search engine and type: "the montessori approach to education" and it will give a lot of information on the methods. You may also try these books out:

    1) Montessori for the New Millennium: Practical Guidance on the Teaching and Education of Children of All Ages, Based on a Rediscovery of the True Principles and Vision of Maria Montessori » Read Now

by Roland A. Lubienski Wentworth. 136 pgs.

    2) Defending Public Schools, Vol. III: Curriculum, Continuity, and Change in the 21st Century ("Montessori Education: Principles, Philosophy, and Practice" begins on p. 96) » Read Now

by Kevin D. Vinson, E. Wayne Ross. 242 pgs.

    3) Try www.questia.com (it's an online library, you can read these books online)
