I am a stay at home mom and about 5 months pregnant with my second child. My daughter and I aren't on any type of schedule and she refuses to sleep thought the night unless she is sleeping with my husband and me. I am looking for a reasonable schedule including bath, naps, lunch, dinner, playtime, and bottles etc... If there are any suggestions please Help

  1. I would suggest keeping a nap and feeding log for a week so you can clearly see your daughter's tendancies.  Then try to schedule her feedings around the times that she is normally hungry.

Establish a bedtime routine that you will follow every night so your daughter knows what to expect.  Choose a bathtime that is close to her last feeding of the night (we do 7:30-8pm).  Follow with a bottle, cuddles, and off to sleep.

  2. My daughter is 11 months. Here's her schedule, but keep in mind that every baby is different and what may work for one baby, might not work for her. Also, my daughter still takes 3 naps a day while most babies her age only take 1 or 2.

    6 a.m.-wakes up, has 7 oz. bottle

    8 a.m.-nap

    9 a.m.-breakfast (solids)

    12 p.m.-nap

    1 p.m.-7 oz. bottle

    3 p.m.-snack & then nap

    4 p.m.-walk

    5 p.m.-dinner (solids)

    6:30 p.m.-bath

    7 p.m-bedtime story & 7 oz. bottle

    7:15-7:30-bedtime

  3. Morning Routine

    *Awaken-Bottle and Breakfast

*Creative Learningtime- Read Books to her, take her for a walk, ect..

*Playtime- Put her in her playpen and let her play with toys- This also helps teach independence.

    *Nap time

    *Awaken-Bottle & Lunch

    *Educational Video for 20 minutes

*Outside time- Take a walk and point out things to her and tell her what the things are

    *Story time- Read a Book

    *Snack Time

    *Nap time

    *Awaken-Dinner time, and Bottle

    *Playtime

    *Bath time

    *Story time

    *Bottle

    *Bed Time

  4. Buy the Contented Little Baby Book by Gina Ford.   It's brilliant.  Both my children are contented.
