Question:

Starting a teen pregnancy support center?

I have always helped pregnant teens on an individual level, but I would like to help more. My tiny town had more then 20 pregnancies in the last two grades of highschool last year alone... and there are some in the lower grades and the middle school aswell, without even looking at abortions. I want to open up a center that gives them a safe place to go should they need it, information, good nutrition, and helps with education.. prenatal, childcare, and the sort you need to get a job. How does one go about starting a place like this?

And before I hear it, no I'm not supporting teens going out and getting pregnant, and I would in fact try to set up a system where they go around to the schools and such and talk about their experiences and the importance of birth control to counteract the abstinence only spiel that is -obviously- working so well. These girls get enough c**p as is, they need somewhere for support
