Me and my friend just this year started growing peppers, tomatoes, mint, and about 6 different types of herbs, and we want to start a business, but we are not sure if we have enough, we might start it next year when we get more out of them, but will people in our neighborhood buy stuff like that? it would be like 75 cents for a tomato, and do you think its reasonable? can you give me some tips? thanks!

  2. Selling produce and herbs is fine, but you should have a sufficient supply to offer customers.  Fresh produce is always in demand and prices should be determined with a margin of profit for your materials and time spent.  You might consider a Farmer's Market in your area.  A set time and place once a week or so, and perhaps involving other home gardeners and people wanting to sell excess garden plants, berries, and the like.
