Question:

Starting an informational Website?

Okay, here is the deal. I would like to start an informational website that tells about things that are happening in my town and in my county. I was wondering if I would have to get permission from my town/county to start this website, or if I could just start it and then just have to ask permission from the people/places/business that I post information about. This website would be mostly about important things going on in the town/county and then public events. So, can I do this, or not?

  1. i don't know the state laws where you live, but as far as i'm aware, you do not need permission, as it is basically a review site. it's like asking your local restuarant if you can review them - its all about biased opinions and reviews. good luck!

  2. You can do it and you don't need any specific authorization from the point of view of the information you will publish.

Authorizations or registrations may be requested  on the company  and tax side if you sell the information services you provide. It is basically what all bloggers do: it is  a review as others said.

Just pay attention to put the right legal disclaimers (you are expressing your own opinion) and to have always evidence to proof possible sensitive statements you make about specific subjects or companies (a lawyer may advise you on this ).

  3. Starting a business and making money can be easy if you know the right people to show you how.  I was directed to this resource a few months ago and I am already seeing a few hundred bucks a day coming in. Fun stuff. http://80e7.easyurl.net
