Starting coin collecting, please help?

i am just starting coin collecting and i'm need i a little help on how to get started. Also, could you list some good sites to buy coins from. I can't get anything to expensive.

You should get started by going to a local coin dealer and see what is available and what series you like, then go by a book on it and do some studying up. Buying on line is a good way for a novice as well as a knowledgeable collector to be soon parted from their money, for coins that are not what they should have been.
