When I was ages 7-9 I danced at a studio and this dance teacher was not very good at all. No experience. I left there and went to another dance studio at the ages of 11-13 where i learned alot. I had to drop out because that dance studio becamce very expensive. I was an ok dancer. Now I'm 15 and I'm going to start dance again. My mom is only letting me take one class and I chose ballet. Now I need help. Can you tell me different dance positions, moves ect..or maybe show me a website. I have forgotten everything.

  1. I think this is the best website...its the american ballet theater ballet dictionary. It shows a video of someone demonstrating it..and then it explains what it is.

  2. here is a glossary of ballet movements:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glossary_of...

I hope this helps and have fun dancing!

P.S. You don't learn all of these movements in the beginning. As you get more advanced, you gradually learn more moves.
