karnataka turism board provides various kinds of travel facilities to mysore they also provide various accomadations . for the queen of hills you take a state bus of tamilnadu.

for starting from bangalore, go karnatka tourism--get reservation for hotel taxi ,train bus etc. they have all the latest and exact  details  o.k. now for ooty also they will guide you and may help you for reservations etc. now do not try to  ask the address of karnataka tourism  any auto will take you there

The fastest and safest way to do both Mysore and Ooty on the

same weekend is by taxi. It will cost you some money but one

can do it. Mysore and its surrounding areas have many places

to visit and you need to spend more than 12-14 hours alone.

Ooty - depends on how many places you want to visit. There

are very nice hotels in Mysore and Ooty and you can contact

a local person in Bangalore. If you contact Karnataka Tourism

they can also provide you with all the information, but they will

charge pretty high fees.

So if I were you, I would take a local person(relative or friend)

with me in a taxi and ask this person to make all the arrangements ahead of time.

Alternatively, there are tour buses between Bangalore and

Mysore which are a day long. Ooty tour buses are also

available from Bangalore and Mysore. But taking these bus

tours - you will have no control over time, but you get to see

most of the major attractions.
