Starting high school.?

Question

so i'm starting high school near the end of august and i'm a little nervous. usually im not nervous about going back to school but for high school i am. i guess because everything actually counts now and it all goes on your transcript. anyway, i was wondering if any of you could give me tips on the first year and what to bring the first day and such. basically, what do i need to know for starting my freshman year? [don't worry, i wont dress like a s**t- im not like that]. but yeah. anything. from making a good first impression and getting good grades, to making friends and dressing well.

~Take something to write down all of your homework assignments in. Like a day planner or a mini notebook.

~Don't try to please everyone. You'll just end up stressing yourself out.

~Stay organized

~Be yourself in trying to make friends. The people who really want to be your friends will like you for you. s***w the others who don't. I'm sure they'd be missing out.

~Figure out what learning style you are. Like are you a visual learner, audio learner, so on and so on. You may have to do some digging on the internet for this.

~Dress comfortably. If your comfortable you'll learn better and  be in better moods.

come early  and sit in the front and center seat ..teachers will see your fresh new face and will most likey remember you..its the teachers u want to leave an impression on not your peers because it is the transcript of most concern...

im going into my sophmore year,so i know what you are going through,i went through it last year,and i still remember,because it was the worst year of my life.

1.Bring your ****,if you dont,you will fail,and get screamed at.

2.Dont lose focus,try and listen when the teacher talks.

3.Dont make enemies,or get involved in stupid drama,i did and lost 2 good friends.

4.Accept that you are a freshman,if you get picked on,dont whine,just try and give them a good comeback,then they wont mess with you.

5.Dont take pre-ap classes,it will make everything 10 million times harder.

6.Be nice,have fun,and get in as much trouble as you want,cause hey,its high school.
