Im starting high school in a new city at a small school. I dont know anyone there. I would like to know what to expect in how the older kids will act towards me, how much homework I'll probably have etc etc. Any other advice about high school would also be nice.

  1. Just play it cool, try and make friends, but don't make a fool of yourself

    Good Luck

  2. Don't expect too much. The upper classmen probably won't give you a second glance. . . And you'll definitely have more homework than in middle school. Overall just keep your options open and join activities to meet new friends.

  3. Don't worry about being the new kid, mostly every freshman will feel like a new kid since you will be having classes with people from all different grade levels. Make sure you treat everyone with respect and talk to everyone to make new friends. Since your new do sports and join clubs! (i really mean that!). It will make making new friend 10X easier. Also do good! I'm a senior now and if I could do anything over it would have been doing a sport and studying harder! Honestly study, study, study! have fun, make friends, and study! Good Luck!
