Starting high school this september ?

Question

I am starting year 7 this september i am going to a girls school in Croydon, i don't know anybody there and i feel really shy. I am dead stuck on the ways around the school and i have heard when you ask someone they will tell you the wrong way... Any tips and ideas

dont worry you'll be fine everyone in your year will think the same some people will no others but there will be alot in the same position as you dont worry be yourself and you'll make friends in no time . no one will show you wrong way there prob just rumours . Be yourself join in and have a laugh you soon get used to it all . good luck

Girl listen, i went was like you when i started year 7 back in the year '05, but listen to, i'm like laughing at myself now for being scared. year 7 is soooo easy and fun. do you have any friends from your old primary school that are going to your school too, cuz i had none of my friends and had to start over with my mates.

Come on great girl! Be Brave and think that in 2 years from now you will laugh about these moments.... everything goes on don't forget it, this hard time will pass too. Just believe in yourself and think you are just the best!

oh god!! i hate girls schools. life gets so much harder without boys and usually in your first year of normal mixed high schools u experience some crushes...u might like someone, sadly that's not gonna happen to you.

just be urself and make friends! u'll be fine!

Dont be worried, be happy, its nothing to worry about. I know it can be a bit scary that your entering hs and getting out of middle school. But no one makes fun of anyone their. Just be relaxed and enjoy your new school

I'm going back into year 10 this year :D

Its not a problem because there are hundred of girls just like you going into that school not knowing anyone, you get split up into classes and in your class there will be girls there that probably don't know anyone either!

Remember first impressions! Don't act like you don't want to be someones friend just smile and be open and kind to people, chat and have a laugh and you will build strong friendships!

In year 7 yea its a bit of a tough year but after that its all good and fun :D Good Luck in September! x
