  2. The Care and Keeping of YOU:the body book for girls

    By Valorie Lee Schaefer

    from the AmericanGirl Library

Idk where you can find it though!!

  4. It's better to explain it to her then just shoving a book into her face. If your mom won't do it, then the responsibility is up to you. I mean, she is your sister you know.

I started devolpoing sort of early, and when I started my peirod my sister was the one who had to explain all the junk to me. I felt embarresed but I certenly didn't want my mom telling me. It just felt........eww...weird! Sisters are sister, you know?

If you really want to buy a book to teach her that stuff, then I suggest going to your local library or barn and nobel. Plus, I think she has had human growth and development class, has she? If not, then good luck. Just explain to her what you know. Don't make it too gross sounding, but do tell her the facts.

Don't forget to mention the cramping part. Teehee. God Bless/blessed be.

  5. American Girl has a great book called

The Care and Keeping of You: The Body Book For Girls

It's perfect for girls her age.  I read it when I was about 10, 11 years old, and I got it for my little cousin who is 12.  It talks about acne problems, how a girls b*****s will develop, how to deal with period issues, and similar stuff.  She'd probably really like it.

If you don't want to order it online, you can get it at any bookstore usually in the children's section.

  6. The Period Book is a good one. However, if your sister actually has her period she may have something wrong w/ her pituitary gland, as 9 is considered out of the "normal" range
