Starting to wear makeup.......... im 13.?

Question

well i am 13 and allowed to wear some makeup now. What can i wear not to look like some s**t? Also, am i the only who hates seeing 10 year olds with makeup? My friend dus, well her mom owns a spa..

Tannedish Olive skin ( i am not greek or anything like that )

Darkbrown eyes.

So what is nice to wear, what colors and what eyeshadow brands stay on and are not flakey.

To be honest i don't think you really nead an eyeshadow? I think if you are just starting to wear makeup why not try and do it slowly?

Maybe a little eye-liner and masacara?

Also yeah i agree 10 year olds with makeup? .. oops what where their parents thinking? lol

Also for brands i find rimmel-london best for mascara and khol best for eye-liner

Any kind of covergirl in some light shades of brown and pinks...do not cover yourself in eye liner and mascara, I think that's what makes younger girls look not as nice...a pink high gloss for the lips would be nice too. Maybe try a very light brown eye liner...avoid black!

I buy all my makeup at MAC because it's almost all organic & good for your skin. If you have sensitive skin use organic makeup if you don't want wrinkles @ 20.

Since you have brown eyes you can use light brown on your eyelid and put a shade of gold on your crease. It won't look too dramatic & it'll bring out your eyes more. If you want you can also use dark green on your eyelids or dark purple but i think green is a bit too much of a colour for a 13 yr old. When you apply the dark purple on your eyelid you can also apply a sort of silver shade to your crease to make a gorgeous illusion that draws the attention to your eyes but when you use gold or silver make sure you really don't have a lot it'll make you look like a s**t. If your a simple girl like me then just use liquid eyeliner on the bottom of your eyelid at put on normal eyeliner on the bottom. It gives this gorgeous look & also brings attention to your beautiful dark brown eyes. But then again your 13...so use mascara.

maybe you can wear some goldish make up on ur axcuall eye lid then right above that where a little lighter color right above ur eye lid.

if you are going to wear make up just dont wear toooo d**n much like a clown or lipstick what ever /... wear just a little little bit okeyy

My best friend has lovely darkbrown hair and gorgeous tanned olive skin! im so jealous, shes got dark brown eyes aswell. Her complexion and skin tone is lovely so she layes of the foundation.

She uses alot of make up from the make Benefit.

i would wear dark eye makeup. either black,grey, but sparkly so it dusnt look like uve got a black eye or sumthing

and she wears alot of green tops, and they really suit her. not horrible green, like turqoisey green. x x

MAC is by far the best brand (in my opinion).

But unless you look older, I'd wait a year or two until you start wearing a lot of make up because the older kids will look down on you and think it's ridiculous (even if you look nice..)

You could try with some mascara and brown eye shadow, but no or verrrry little eye liner.

well, im 13 and i usually dont wear any makeup, but sometimes i wear a little mascara and some lip gloss. i recommend Cover Girl Lash Blast mascara, and any fruity lip gloss. hope i helped! :)

You can wear glosses with a tone to them like pinks and golds. Most glosses have a sheer color so you don't look like you're wearing too much make-up. Also, for eyeshadows, Revlon and maybelline are pretty good. I like MAC (in dept. stores) blush and bronzer. But the shimmer eyeshadows don't stay on as well as the matte eyeshawdows. In case you're wondering, shimmer ones have that sparkley look to them.

a nice pink lip gloss and some light pink blush would look nice on you i think, and some mascara but dont go heavy. if i were you i wouldn't wear foundation though, it clogs up your pores, makes you get spots and ruins your skin. x*x

Stick with lipgloss.  At your age, wearing anything more will make you look overdone.  When you are sixteen (or even fifteen), add mascara on your top lashes (not bottom).  If you have uneven skin tone or blemishes, use a tinted moisturizer with SPF to help protect your skin.  On special occasions, use mascara.  I'd stay away from eyeliner and eye shadow until you are at least 16 as they will probably make you look like a pageant star.

If you think you need more, than use a cream or shimmer eye shadow.

Bareminerals is really light and natural looking but makes you look prettier.  Blush and mascara also do a lot. Those are all I use and I'm 16.  

Loreal blush is really good and I think right now you can get l'oreal for buy one get one 50% off at ulta and you get a free gift with something. check it out online anyway.  

Good luck and start out light and keep playing with it until you get it right.

Well no if you dont think your too young then its completely upt you!! Im no professional but you'd be best going to a department store such as boots/debenhams & getting professional help from them.

When you say your tanned is it naturally or do you apply?? im only 18 & i use St.Tropez which is Amaazing!! Its even recomended by celebrities as for makeup go for a colour that matches you as a person but dont just wear it cus its in fashion again at the same time experiment & be creative =)

NARS and MAC. You should wear Eyeliner, bronzer, mascara, and shadow. If you absolutely HAVE TO use cover up but thats it.:)

It sounds like you have nice features already. I would just choose a lip gloss (mac is good, but spendy). Since you are only 13, I would go for a lighter pink color and call it good.  Eyeshadow is nice if if it's not caked on. An afordable good brand is loreal.  very smooth and not flakey.

and sometimes eyeshadow.

I don't buy particular brands of eyeshadow. Natural Collection [UK] is a good cheap [everything under £2.00] for mascara and powder and stuff. On your skin tone I would say maybe a eye shadow matching your eye color. Maybe sweep a gold color across the eyelid?

wearing makeup increase the possibility of having skin cancer specially in case you walk in the sun and it increase the aging factor later in life so keep it for a later age don't ware make up now.
