my ipod want work iput in the pc it want work it want even come on so i took it to the apple store and he pull out a wall charger and he plug it in and it came on so he told me to get a wall charger but i went i buy one but it didit come on so i need to know how strong it need to be so it will power it up. the charger i got was output [110 220] /input 5v ps i try reset want work

  1. Dude...are you a native English speaker? If so, your parents and English teachers failed you miserably. With that being said, your iPod charger should be .5 Amps (input). I purchased a wall charger that has both a USB and Firewire port. The USB output is rated at 5 Volts (and 800 milliamps), while the Firewire output is rated at 13 Volts (and 500 milliamps).

    Did you buy a wall charger that has an integrated cable? Or do you plug in a cable like I do on mine? If you plug in a cable, maybe your cable is bad. Have you tried using a friend's wall charger/cable? Does your iPod charge when you plug it into your computer?
