State Militias. Are there any, where are they and how can they be contacted?

I am searching for State Militias. I believe in protecting the Constitution and would care to help protect my State.

Is there a list of Militias and could you provide a link for like-minded people?

Connecticut has a state militia.  They have the governor's horse guard and the governor's foot guard.  Their prime duties are ceremonial.
