State Police License Plates?

Im 16 and my Uncle is a State Policeman, or Sheriff or sumthing of tht nature. And my aunt ordered license plates for me, my dad told me that it significantly decreases the chances of getting pulled over. Is this true? Why?

Were not putting it on my car, but on the car i normally drive[dads].

  1. Don't count on it.  When an officer pulls you over, he usually cannot read your plates.


  2. My brother's a sheriff, and it's because when a cop runs the numbers on your plate in his computer, it comes up as an officer owned vehicle.  Most cops don't ticket other ones.
